New Bags on the Way, and a New Seat on the Board
|
It has been a full few weeks at the studio, and we wanted to let you in on a couple of things before they show up in the shop or on your feed.
|
First, the fun news: we have been heads-down on several new bag designs, and they are nearly ready. Expect to see them listed in the shop and carried to the markets starting next week. We are not going to spoil the details yet, but if you have been waiting for something new to carry your everyday essentials, this is the moment we have been building toward for months.
|
Second, some news that means a great deal to us personally. Shailesh has been elected to the board of Washtenaw Literacy, a local nonprofit dedicated to adult literacy right here in Washtenaw County. It is the kind of quiet, essential work that does not always make headlines but changes lives — helping neighbors read a prescription label, fill out a job application, or read a bedtime story to their kids with confidence. We believe strongly in the value of craft and skill built patiently over time, and this is that same belief applied to something even more fundamental. We are honored to support it.
