Isabel Wang Joins the Board of the Sunday Artisan Market

Nov 20, 2025

I am excited to share that I’ve been elected to the Board of the Ann Arbor Sunday Artisan Market in Kerrytown. This market has been a creative cornerstone in Ann Arbor for decades. For many people who visit Ann Arbor or Michigan for the first time, the market is where they experience a wonderful Sunday and interact with our community right here in Kerrytown.

Since joining the market as a vendor in 2021, Arbor Trading Post has met customers from across the country and around the world who value authentic craftsmanship, handcrafted leather goods, and the character of Ann Arbor’s maker community. I also see how much untapped potential the market still has to support artists, strengthen our creative economy, and welcome even more visitors who come looking for authentic Michigan craftsmanship.

During my term, I plan to help the market become a more vibrant, inclusive, and well-known home for local artists and emerging makers. I’m grateful to serve alongside my friend Stacey Murray of Hankra Jewelry, who also joins the board this year. Together, we want to help the Artisan Market grow and better support the community that has supported us.

I’m looking forward to this new chapter and to continuing to represent Ann Arbor’s talented artisan community.
